When he needs more cadavers for his scientific research, Dr. Knox (Alastair Sim) hires shady henchmen Burke (Diarmuid Kelley) and Hare (Michael Ripper) to secretly obtain fresh corpses from nearby graveyards. But when the pair's gruesome nighttime raids don't net them enough bodies, they turn to murder to make their quota.
