At the height of the 1950's fad for reincarnation stories, the legendarily loopy Edward D. Wood Jr. wrote this high-camp jungle-horror anti-classic. Newlywed bride Charlotte Austin is more interested in the gorilla caged in her big-game hunter husband's (Lance Fuller) basement than in her wedding night. Hypnotic past-life regression leads Austin to the conclusion that she was actually a gorilla herself in a previous existence, which explains her obsession... but does little to dissuade her husband's jealousy.
