Documentary (2004) The Bulls Of Suburbia is a feature-length documentary that tells the story of one man trying to overcome the demons of his past by entering into the secretive world of bullfighting. Along the way, he encounters a band of strangers that accompany him on his wild ride of self-discovery, including a young Korean kid escaping his overbearing father, A soft-spoken geneticist, a LA rocker and an ex-surfer turned bullfight instructor. As he travels back and forth to Spain, Mexico and Southern California in search of victory in the ring, his father is stricken with terminal cancer. At a crossroads, he must decide weather to quit or forge ahead. In the film's conclusion he finds himself in a battle for his life, his soul, and the approval of his dying father.
