A young man from India comes to America in search of fame and fortune, but upon settling in New York, he finds his goal isn't as easily attainable as he expected. Almost by accident, he becomes a guru who teaches spiritual enlightenment through sex. Heather Graham and Marisa Tomei are in talks to play the two women involved in the guru's life, with Graham playing his love interest and Tomei as a woman who aids his rise to fame.
