The House of God

High stress, casual sex and black humor are the norm in this scathing satire about a group of medical interns working under harrowing conditions in a big city hospital, which served as a primary inspiration for the television series St. Elsewhere. Charles Haid plays the hospital's senior resident, known as The Fatman, who pushes his own contrarian theories of patient care on the interns, with surprisingly successful results.
