Michael Sanford (BRETT CULLEN, Apollo 13, Something to Talk About, Wyatt Earp) has returned to the picturesque town of his youth with his new wife Diane (TAMLYN TOMITA, The Joy Luck Club, Four Rooms, Picture Bride, Come See the Paradise, Karate Kid II) to revitalize the century-old family vineyard and live the good, peaceful life that has so far eluded him. Due to hard times, the longtime foreman of the vineyard, Cameron (WES STUDI, Heat, Dances with Wolves, Last of the Mohicans) tries to convince Michael to sell the land. Late one night, Michael cruises past a family station wagon parked haphazardly on the side of a deserted country road. He passes the suspicious looking vehicle, in a hurry to get home to see his wife.
