When a storm blows his ship off course, an opportunistic steamer captain (Eric Porter) -- who's smuggling explosives -- finds himself and his motley band of passengers and crew in a bizarre world in this slightly psychedelic high-seas adventure. Stranded on an island with carnivorous plants, monster crabs and the unhinged inhabitants of a civilization governed by the dictates of the Spanish Inquisition, can they escape with their lives?
