The Man in the Net

This powerful drama from director Michael Curtiz stars Alan Ladd as John Hamilton, an artist whose alcoholic, unstable wife, Linda (Carolyn Jones), publicly humiliates him and then disappears from their New England home, leaving John to face charges of murder. As the circumstantial evidence against him grows, John flees and is offered shelter in a cave hideout by the local children. The kids then aid John in his search to find the real culprit.
