The Midnight Patrol

Laurel and Hardy are two policeman on patrol, taking an in-car lunch break. After their spare tire on their back of their police car is nearly stolen, the two policemen miss a broadcast address of a burglary in progress. Laurel uses the phone in a jewelry store and strikes up a conversation with a burglar who is actually trying to break into the safe.
