Andy Schmidt (Henry Winkler) is literally a starving actor when he meets a wrestling promoter (Gene Saks) who gives him a chance to put some food on the table by transforming him into a flashy pro wrestler dubbed the One and Only. Soon enough, Andy's career in the ring takes off. But his private life with his wife (Kim Darby) is on the rocks. Hervé Villechaize (Fantasy Island) co-stars in this romantic comedy from director Carl Reiner.
