The Opportunists

Vic (Christopher Walken) is a struggling auto mechanic and family man with a safe cracking past and a lot of debt. When young Michael (Peter McDonald) appears on his doorstep, claiming to be a cousin from Ireland, Vic reluctantly offers shelter and assistance. Ironically, Michael has come to America to benefit from the man he believes is a successful mobster – as legend back home tells it. What he finds in Vic is completely different. When Michael joins forces with neighborhood guys looking for an easy score, Vic is backed into a corner where one last heist seems the only way out. The Opportunists is a story of a proud man, who can’t seem to do the right thing, no matter how hard he tries.
