The Pride and the Passion

During the height of the Napoleonic Wars in Spain, British naval officer Capt. Anthony Trumbell (Cary Grant), aided by a group of Spanish peasants, maneuvers a giant siege cannon cross-country in order to penetrate the stone walls of a strategic town. Meanwhile, Trumbell and the Spaniards' leader, Miguel (Frank Sinatra), compete for the affections of the lovely Juana (Sophia Loren). Stanley Kramer directed this vintage war drama.
