The Real Howard Spitz

Private eye-turned-popular crime author Howard Spitz (Kelsey Grammer) is facing a professional crisis: With the appeal of his hardboiled detective novels fading, he's desperate to find a new audience of mystery fans to entertain. To his rescue comes 8-year-old Samantha Kershaw (Genevieve Tessier), who convinces Howard to create an all-new detective -- Crafty Cow -- which quickly gains him a new and enthusiastic reading public.
