The title says it all. A sheriff (William Conrad) catches an outlaw (Anthony Quinn) and must transport him back through forbidding terrain and Indian territory to bring him to justice. A failure most of his life, the sheriff stakes everything on completing this mission. Fine characterizations make this Western a cut above the rest for its time (the mid-1950s).
