The groups unite to perform an opening number of Wake Up by Arcade Fire. Later, they each perform a rock classic and country hit song to determine who will be leaving the competition. The group that remains standing at the end of the season receives the prize of $200,000 cash and a Sony Music recording contract. Nick Lachey hosts and Sara Bareilles, Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman serve as judges.
