Susan (Andrea Roth) spends her life leaping from one abusive foster home to the next. When she reaches adulthood, she wants nothing more than to get revenge on the mother who abandoned her, so she sets out to trace her family tree's roots. Susan's search leads her to a horse ranch owned by her birth parents (Gil Gerard and Cindy Pickett), where her long-lost sister (Lisa Dean Ryan) begins to suspect the beautiful drifter isn't who she claims.
