The Stone Boy is a beautiful and tragic film centering around a twelve year-old boy, Arnold, who lives on a farm in Montana with his brother, Eugene, sister, Nora, and parents, Joe and Ruth. A freak hunting accident results in Arnold taking Eugene's life. The fractured family must now deal with their grief and their lingering resentment towards Arnold. Just a boy, Arnold is unable to handle the unspoken disappointment, so he moves in with his more forgiving grandfather.
