While Arthur and The Tick are both thrilled by an invitation to join the Legion of Superheroes, Captain Liberty notes the exclusive club's history of discriminating against women and minorities. Arriving at the Legion's stuffy headquarters where the Champion meets them, the awestruck pair soon find that Captain Liberty's accusations are true. But, while Arthur claims they will do whatever it takes to join the venerable institution. Captain Liberty is determined to break down the Legion's barriers to entry and enlists Batmanuel's lawyer, Steve Filbert, to sue -- unaware that he is actually the Champion!
