Roland is about to get married, but only hours before the wedding, he gets cold feet and disappears. His lifelong best buddies Slim and Mike find him at an ex-girlfriend's house, where he's drunk and in a panic. As they try to calm him down, the three friends affectionately recall growing up in the 1980s in Inglewood, California, known as 'The Wood.'
