The Zeta Project, a spin-off from DC Comics' blockbuster series Batman Beyond, chronicles the futuristic adventures of Zeta (voiced by Diedrich Bader of The Batman), a renegade government-designed robot, and Ro (voiced by Julie Nathanson of Speed Racer), his 15-year-old streetwise companion. Both are fugitives on the run from an establishment that doesn't understand them. Originally designed as a high-tech weapon for the government, Zeta defies his planned destruction and flees in search of his creator, trying to stay a step ahead of ruthless operatives and agents such as West (voice by Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum), intent on his capture. Ro is a savvy runaway from a state-supervised home for girls searching for her long-lost family. With Zeta's awesome gadgetry and moral conviction coupled with Ro's street smarts and humor, the two help each other and those they meet along the way. So leap in time to the year 2040 and follow these unlikely allies.
