From executive producer Mike Fleiss (The Bachelor, High School Reunion), There Goes the Neighborhood promises to be the ultimate family and social bonding experiment. Can an average middle-class household let go of modern-day conveniences in order to reconnect with each other as a family? Eight homes in the same suburban neighborhood will be cut off from the outside world by a 20-foot wall and a near lack of electricity - this means no television, no Internet and no cell phones - as families face off against their neighbors. These families from diverse backgrounds - from a single-parent family to three generations living under the same roof - will compete against their neighbors, forced to work together as a family and team. One family will be eliminated each week until just clan remains to claim the $250,000 grand prize.
