Three Blind Mice

Writer-director-actor Matthew Newton's timely dramedy centers on three young naval officers who use the last 24 hours they have before shipping off to Iraq to embark on an eventful night of booze, brawling and debauchery in Sydney. Darkly comical and poignant, Newton's effort features great performances from the ensemble cast, including Toby Schmitz, Ewen Leslie, Gracie Otto, Pia Miranda and Brendan Cowell.
