When Jeff (Eddie Kaye Thomas) is challenged by snooty private school Principal Neil Bender (guest star John Cho) to a faculty basketball game, he feels like it will be a sure win with Eddie (Brad Garrett) giving his team the vertical edge. Afraid of shattering his wife's image of him and letting down his team, Eddie fakes an injury in order to avoid playing in the game. Steph (Kat Foster) calls Eddie out on his lie and persuades him to come clean to Joy (Joely Fisher) and Jeff that not all tall men can play ball.
