During preparations to build a backyard oasis, Eddie (Brad Garrett) and Joy's (Joely Fisher) daughter Ally (Lindsey Broad) returns from Ecuador. While Eddie and Joy are overjoyed to have their daughter back at home, they are not so pleased to learn that she has married her tree-hugging boyfriend Doug (Timm Sharp) and residing in their RV in the family's backyard. After plotting to separate the newlyweds, Eddie and Joy realize that if Ally is happy, then they are happy too.
