It's Jeff's (Eddie Kaye Thomas) birthday and when Joy (Joely Fisher) tells Eddie (Brad Garrett) that their joint present to him will be lingerie, he refuses to sign the card. After receiving Joy's present, Jeff is thrilled when he is under the impression that Eddie got him his own gift. After being put on the spot all Eddie can offer him is a handshake. This leads Jeff to question Eddie's friendship at the most unfortunate time - when Steph (Kat Foster) dons the birthday lingerie.
