In the series debut, the celebrities arrive in Stephenville and meet Ty for the first time. As if meeting the All-Around World Champion wasn't enough for one day, Ty invites Justin McBride, 2005 Professional Bull Riding Champion, to the ranch to show the celebrities how bull riding is done. After watching McBride, the celebrities get a frightening up-close look at bull riding and realize that it may be a little harder than it looks on TV. After the first day of training, the celebrities get a true feel for what they have gotten themselves into and one star realizes he's bitten off more than he can chew.
