Miguel Ferrer plays Boone, a luckless P.I. prowling the L.A. underworld while young documentary filmmakers A.J. (John Livingston) and Wilton (rap star Mos Def) follow him with their camera rolling. Desperate to stay a step ahead of the bill collector, Boone recruits A.J. and Wilton to help with his cases. Now A.J. and Wilton are about to step from the reel-world of moviemaking into a real-life murder mystery.
