Woman of the Wolf is a sumptuous fairy tale based on a 1904 story by American poet/author Renee Vivien. Two divergent accounts of the same narrative are interwoven: one told verbally, by Pierre Lenoir, a charismatic dinner party host who regales his guests with a strange tale of a woman he once met and tried to seduce on a fantasy cargo boat, and the other told visually, through the independent behavior of that woman and her wolf consort on the boat as they sail to nowhere.
