Dr. Nicki urges both Coreys to meet one final time so they can have real closure. She confronts Haim on his sobriety and Haim once again flees. In a drugged daze, Haim finally cops to having a problem and agrees to throw away all of his pills. The next morning there is a glimmer of hope as Haim lands a role in an upcoming movie. Haim decides he would like real closure and calls Feldman, but Feldman only reiterates his stand about Haim's sobriety. Haim lets Feldman know where he will be the next day in case he wants to meet. Hoping to end the long history of the two Coreys on a high note, a dazed Haim heads to the meeting place above Hollywood waiting for his old best friend, but there is no sign of Feldman.
