Leland Swinnerton, 70-year-old president of a huge toy corporation, is known to everyone as Mother Goose. He goes to Charlie's Angels for assistance when someone tries to sabotage the company toys by blowing up the corporate offices, causing at least one death. Sabrina, posing as a secretary from Hong Kong, becomes friendly with Gordon Roclair, the brilliant but crazy design director. Roclair confides to Sabrina that he hates Mother Goose, and is working for Tony Phelan, a gangster with plans to gain control of the company. With Sabrina tagging along as "partner," Roclair installs secret microphones around the factory, so that Phelan can hear all the latest corporate decisions. It is a simple matter for the Angels to sabotage the saboteurs by changing the location of the microphones. Instead of picking up important conversations in Mother Goose's office, Phelan hears the secretary talking about her flowers. By planing a microphone of their own in Phelan's truck, the Angels pick up all the wire tap communications and hear the gangsters' plans. This mike is especially useful when Phelan's accomplice, Orwell, discovers the identity of Kelly, who had been working with him as a "bugging expert." Orwell forces Kelly at gunpoint to drive the truck into the country, but Bosley and Kris are right behind, listening to every word. In the end, Roclair and Phelan are completely confused. Roclair finds Mother Goose's secret plans for the new Christmas toys with Sabrina's help, but Kris switches them for a set of useless vacuum cleaner blueprints. Phelan and his hoods chase Roclair, believing he doublecrossed them. In the confusion, a booby--trapped toy cannon in the factory shoots at Roclair and he falls, only from fright, because Kris had stopped up the barrel with bubblegum. Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd star as the Angels, Sabrina Duncan, Kelly Garrett and Kris Munroe, respectively, who work for Charlie, an u
