Revolution 618 -- The Righteous are as bold as a lion and are those who know who they are in Christ. We can have great boldness and walk in great freedom as the truth sets us free. Getting into the word and praying will release Gods will in our life. The word being creativity in our life as Christians opens up our spiritual understanding and our understanding with the things in this world that is going on around us. Melissa Jamison goes on to explain that we ve seen our nation as American's take some turns and in those turns were not praying as much as we should be. There were foundational truths set for us in our country. Regardless of what some people may be telling us right now 'We are a nation that was founded on Christian values, they can't take away history. We can look and see we are not like any other nation we ve been a very different nation and are very set apart in the entire world. Pastor Josh Jamison references second Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) 'If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.' Josh goes on to say 'When we pray it makes a difference' referencing the second part of James 5:16 The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. We need to dig in and seek God's face and find him in a place of intimacy where we contact God and we literally shake the heavens by being released to do what God s will is here on planet Earth. Pray for the nation, be a patriot and call upon the name of the lord. We are looking for ways to find and seek out God but we want things to be quick, Melissa Referenced Daniel in the Bible where he was seeking God through prayer and it took 21 days to be answered. Daniel could have given up because no one answered for so long and looked as though God wasn t paying attention to him Yet Daniel continued in that prayer. Regardles
The Authority of the Believer -- Revolution 618 TV Episode 20 'The Authority of the Believer' First Season Finale - Hosted by Josh and Melissa Jamison. Directed and produced by Bryan Kreutz. Originally aired Jul 19, 2010 on Christian Television network
Pastor Josh Jamison explains that there are so many people sitting back and recline stating O the will of the Lord be done in my life. We do want that and sometimes it is hard to know what the will of God is but the Lord wants us to move into the fullness of being a mature son of God. The Bible says that as many that are lead by the spirit of God they are the sons of God referring to the son s of god who are useful to the father s house. God gives grace to the humble and Christ gives us strength it is up to us to find the will of God then walk in the delegated authority he has positioned us in to bring on dreams to pass. Josh Jamison refers to Psalm 8:3 When I consider your heavens the work of your fingers the moon and the stars which you have ordained, what is man that you are mindful of him and the son of man which you visit him. For you have made him a little lower than Elohim and you have crowned him with glory and honor you have made him to have dominion over all the works of your hands you have put all things under his feet all sheep and oxen even the beast of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. O lord our Lord how excellent is your name in all the Earth. The Lord has given man dominion here on Earth all things have been placed in Christ s hands he has released those to the Church of the living God. The Positional authority is Christ the delegated authority is the Church us Christ s people. Melissa Jamison adds we are to be imitators of God as we look through the word we can see how God spoke and he saw it come to pass so we need to change our thought patterns then talk in authority by re-adjust our words through God s will. The Word
Called to Live in the Light -- Revolution 618 TV Episode 14 'Called to Live in the Light' originally aired on the Christian Television Network. Hosted by Josh and Melissa Jamison with Tom Blauvelt.
Directed and produced by Bryan Kreutz.
God is waiting for us to grab a hold of his word to go into the entire world and preach the gospel to take authority over the dominions and the powers of darkness because we have the word on the inside of us as Christians. When we get into the word (Bible) and it becomes a part of us the word says the truth that you know will set you free. Josh Jamison goes on to say that the Bible specifically says 'Without faith it is impossible to please him (God) but he who comes to God must believe that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Share a smile with someone and ask someone if they could use prayer even when you feel like you can't do it. In the body of Christ God looks at every one of us with value. God addresses us in his word and how important the internal organs are as well in the body of Christ. Those of us Christians that aren t on TV or outwardly known as Christians internally in the body of Christ are extremely vital to the church of God and if we don't grab the hope of that then were not chipping in where we all need to be doing our part. Tom Blauvelt continues this message stating this is vital to save the lost (Non-Christians), heal the sick, and bring revival into our nation. God needs everyone doing their part and standing at our post. Pastor Josh Jamison refers to last week s topic on offenses and unforgiving in their life stating the word of God warns us about bitterness and keeping ourselves pure when serving him (Christ) referring to Hebrews 12:15 Looking carefully less anyone fall short of the grace of God lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble and by this many become defiled. Bitterness will stop your purposes and will stop your plans of God in your life.
Fixing Melissa -- FIXING MELISSA, a short coming-of-age drama, was filmed in HD and Super 8. The different textures and aspect ratios of these formats weave together to create a movies- within-a-movie form. A family dynamic emerges that has at its core the common experience of bungled communications. The film depicts a defining moment for Melissa, a teenage girl trying to define herself amidst a chaotic home life. Her struggle for understanding coalesces into a battle with her domineering, but fascinating, sculptor father. Pushed into taking a stand by his bizarre antics, she comes to realize that she has a resource more powerful than her anger. Never without her old Super 8 movie camera, she films everything, even the things that bother her. When she edits her films, she adds bits of 8mm family memorabilia in evocative ways. More than a search for comfort, her fascination with the past has a potent aesthetic that she could use to engage those around her in new ways. Is she escaping the looming challenges of adulthood or is she a nascent artist ready to challenge the world with her unique vision?
