Audrey (Megyn Price) and Jeff (Patrick Warburton) employ the help of Timmy (Adhir Kalyan) to settle a disagreement that started while spending the night at Russell’s place. Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich) and Adam (Oliver Hudson) decide to have a little fun when asked to check in on Audrey and Patrick’s apartment, which is being painted.

Sami says good-bye to the convent, knowing she'll miss the good memories of the place where she spent the first weeks of her daughter's life. While Rafe takes a phone call, Sami meets Sister Agnes and asks about Rafe's past. Sister Agnes hints at a tragedy, but will say no more, urging Sami to treat Rafe well. When Rafe returns, Sami tells him she wants to christen Grace. Will Rafe be the godparent? Rafe agrees and the christening begins. Daniel tells Chloe he's sorry he hurt her, and wishes her nothing but happiness. Lucas arrives and Chloe makes an excuse about why she's with Daniel, and leaves for her check-up. Lucas thanks Daniel for urging him to elope with Chloe. Later, at the Brady pub, Chloe learns that her doctor retired and she'll have to find a new one. She grows nauseated when she's about to eat a hamburger, but assures Lucas its just exhaustion. After he leaves on a Hearth & Home emergency, Chloe checks her calendar, counting dates and is not happy with her discovery. Bo lies to Hope about his worry of his visions, not telling her he foresaw her in bed with Roman. Hope becomes privately concerned for him. EJ and Stefano discuss Tony's leaving the family. EJ thinks more is going on than meets the eye, and believes it might have something to do with Nicole. Stefano is determined to make Tony pay for abandoning his family. Meanwhile, Nicole watches Tony and Philip fight. Tony gets the best of Philip as Philip slices open his hand. As Tony begins to move off, Philip entices him, calling him back to the duel. While Tony makes his way back, the railing on the stairs gives way, and he falls on a broken wooden pallet, where a fragment of wood pierces deeply into Tony's back. Nicole comes out of hiding, and Philip yells for her to call 911. Nicole hesitates at first, but finally calls due to Philips reinforcement. She then calls EJ to tell him Tony was hurt and is on his way to the hospital. Philip tries to remind Nicole that Tony's fall and injury was an accident, but she stays silent. At the hospital, Bo breaks up a confrontation between Stefano, EJ, and Philip. Daniel tells them that Tony's chances of survival are not good, and Stefano doesn't think Daniel is the right person to be Tony's doctor due to his Kiriakis connection. Philip tells Bo that Nicole witnessed everything and can attest that it was an accident. Nicole slips into Tony's room, and the two lock eyes.
The christening for baby Sydney continues as Tony explains to Nicole that he knows her secret. She tries her best to throw him off the trail, but he drops the bomb that he had a nice chat with Mia, who told him some very interesting things. At the same time, EJ tells Sami it could have been him and Sami christening a baby today instead of him and Nicole. Sami, knowing very well it could have been, tells EJ that ship has sailed. EJ appreciates her being there and hopes that Sami will consider her his friend. Meanwhile, Nicole continues to avoid Tony’s accusations, telling him that it’s clear that Mia’s lying and trying to blackmail her. Tony doubts this and says if that’s the case they should tell Stefano and EJ just as Stefano enters. Nicole covers in front of Stefano. When Nicole wonders what Tony is going to do, he tells her to wait and see. In the chapel, Sami reminds EJ he’s moved on. EJ asks about Rafe and Sami doesn’t give much away. Finally, the christening begins and Father Matt asks Tony and Lexie to step forward as godparents. Lexie accepts her duty, but Nicole panics when Tony remains silent. Stefano offers to have a servant baby sit Theo when Lexie’s sitter calls in sick. Lexie is hesitant at first about leaving Theo at the mansion where he had his accident, but realizes her son has made progress since then and she realizes she has to try to trust her son. She has a moment with Theo and he promises to be good. At the convent, Rafe finds himself face to face with an old friend, Sister Agnes. She worries he may be putting too much stock in Sami, but Rafe assures her this is not the case. Also, Will offers to help Mia, but she declines. Not pressing, he tells her where the Brady pub is. If she wants anything to eat, he’ll be there. Later, Mia shows up, the two make small talk. She learns about Will living in Switzerland, but when he talks about being back in Salem and being a big brother to Allie and Johnny, Mia becomes disturbed. She sort of snaps and runs out, leaving a miffed Will and her house keys behind. After constant searching, Stephanie and Brady find Philip, who coolly and calmly vows that Tony will pay for taking the fuels project.
