The newlyweds began the festivities by attending another couples wedding and that was all that was seen of the Duke and Duchess over the weekend. But details have come out on how the couple marked their big day. Paper is the traditional first anniversary gift, representing the still fragile nature of the marriage. So Kate reportedly made the Duke a home cooked meal of fish en papillote, which means in parchment, at their Anglesey cottage home.
