In this follow-up to Revenge of the Nerds, the nerdy frat boys from Lambda Lambda Lambda go to Ft. Lauderdale to a national frat conference where they again must outwit the thick-tongued jock frat-boys from their rival frat, the Alphas. At the same time, they attempt to hone their witty conversational skills with pretty girls. All the gang is back, including Louis (Robert Carradine), Booger (Curtis Armstrong), Lamar (Larry B. Scott), Poindexter (Timothy Busfield) and Gilbert (Anthony Edwards).

Nine-year-old Sam Paretta is dead, killed in a plane crash. Miracle Mile starts conventionally enough, with bashful musician Anthony Edwards going ga-ga over waitress Mare Winningham.
