A thriving black market in food, medicine and luxury items has developed within the fleet, serving the rich and depriving the needy of essential goods. When Pegasus Commander Jack Fisk (Graham Beckel) is found brutally murdered in his private quarters amidst a cache of cigarettes, liquor and jewelry, Lee Adama (Jamie Bamber) is appointed chief investigator. Lee discovers that Fisk was fronting a racketeering operation that seemingly involves other prominent authorities. The suspects include Quorum representative Tom Zarek (Richard Hatch) and Vice President Gaius Baltar (James Callis), who is angered by President Laura Roslin's (Mary McDonnell) suggestion that he resign. The investigation turns personal for Lee when Shevon (Claudette Mink), a woman with whom he's developed a close relationship, is kidnapped along with her young daughter by a gang of black-market thugs. Intensifying his efforts, Lee tracks Phelan (Bill Duke), the gang's ringleader, to the Prometheus, a renegade freighter packed with contraband.

In the shadows of the Los Angeles pyramids, the Sliders find a world where Egyptian dynasties never ended. A procession of guards escorting a large crate approaches the group, when something in the crate bursts free, attacking a young woman. Wade (Sabrina Lloyd) and Quinn (Jerry O Connell) rescue Sheila (Claudette Mink) from a giant insect's claw, but they are arrested for touching the sacred scarab. Quinn, injured in the attack, is sent to a hospital, and Wade and Sheila are sent to the pyramid. Wade learns that the scarab will be locked in the pyramid with the Pharaoh s remains tomorrow. It will guard the pyramid and Wade and Sheila are to be locked in also, as food for the scarab. As Sheila is led inside, Arturo (John Rhys-Davies) breaks into the police van and rescues Wade. Meanwhile, Rembrandt (Cleavant Derricks) slips into the hospital, and finds Quinn dead.

In this action-thriller, Brad Cartowski (Michael Pare) is a Navy SEAL whose wife, Marcy (Claudette Mink), has been kidnapped by a band of Libyan terrorists. The terrorists have also hijacked an airliner filled with passengers, and in exchange for the return of both Marcy, the jet, and its passengers, they're demanding the release of Carlos (Billy Drago), the leader of their organization who has been captured by American operatives. The United States warily agrees to the deal, but after Carlos is set free in Athens, he and his men decide to keep the plane -- and Marcy. An outraged Brad discovers the U.S. military is hesitant to step in and save Marcy, so he teams up with fellow SEAL Cody (Jan-Michael Vincent) to stage a rescue mission on their own. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide.
