Set just as the Taliban take power in Afghanistan and essentially ban women from walking in the streets, this provocatively titled feature centers on a grandmother and mother who disguise a daughter as a boy named Osama so the mother can leave their house and look for work. The film is Afghanistan's official submission for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar.
