Everyone's favorite D-lister Kathy Griffin is back on stage revealing the hot Hollywood gossip and taking no prisoners in the one-hour comedy special, "Kathy Griffin: Strong Black Woman." The comedy special that includes Kathy's jaw-dropping true tales from the red carpet, threats from Dakota Fanning and Steven Spielberg, and a nerve-wracking encounter with Celine Dion. Life in Hollywood can be pretty outrageous, but only one D-lister is capable of bringing Tinseltown's real story to the stage -- and that's Kathy Griffin.

Kathy Griffin has just found out that she is being honored by Irish American Magazine as one of their Top 100 for 2007. Never mind that her mother nominated her for this award, Griffin will take any excuse she can get for a trip to New York. But when Griffin returns home and shows her mother the Irish American award, she starts to feel a hankering for reconnecting with her roots. So, when she s invited by the Irish Tourism Board to visit Dublin she jumps at the chance with team Griffin in tow. While in Ireland, Griffin wants to do a little something in memory of her father.

It's the season finale, and Kathy and her trusty assistant Jessica head to Vegas for an action packed weekend. But it's a lot of work and very little play. Kathy is booked to host Alka Seltzer's World's Largest Buffet event, which includes a satellite media tour starting at 5:00am - not Kathy's greatest hour. Kathy's Vegas fun continues when she hooks up with an A-List fan, Olympic skater Johnny Weir. He's adorable, he's androgynous, and he teaches Kathy to skate. The work of a D-Lister is never done - as Kathy heads to Chicago to judge a cooking event sponsored by a random political group (hello D-List!). Next, she serves as a "talent scout" on the comedy show, "Last Comic Standing." At least she's putting her expertise to work. Back home, Kathy decides to reward her beloved parents with a glamorous spa getaway weekend. But they have other plans. Life on the D-List is never easy.

Griffin reconnects with her high school boyfriend, who Griffin firmly believes she turned gay and hopes to discover how she became a 'gay maker' and what she can do to turn around her floundering love life.
