Russell (David Spade) puts on a show to impress his father (guest star Geoff Pierson) when he comes to town, but both he and Adam (Oliver Hudson) learn the meaning of a parent's tough love. Meanwhile an "accident" in their apartment forces Adam and Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich) to invade Audrey (Megyn Price) and Jeff's (Patrick Warburton) bathroom.

Jeff's (Patrick Warburton) drive to be labeled an "optimal male" on his life-insurance physical leads him to some extreme behavior, while Adam's (Oliver Hudson) over-friendliness with an ex-girlfriend unsettles Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich).
