On her deathbed, Colleen gathers her family at the B&B to say good-bye. She reveals she has battled cancer for years and the end is near. An unemotional John remains flippant about his newfound mother. Colleen shares a touching farewell with Bo, Hope, Kayla, Marlena, Belle, Shawn and Grandpa Shawn. She implores John to give her a final hug. He relents and she dies in her son's arms. In private, John grapples with his complicated feelings. Unable to reach the Bradys, Lexie calls Philip, who updates her on the situation with Colleen. He and Chloe bond while the Bradys visit with their dying relative. After Colleen passes away, Philip tells Kayla about Lexie's call. Kayla gets in touch with her, and Lexie informs her that she's pregnant! Shawn and Belle agree to try making their marriage work.

Nicole faces the DT's and learns some big news. She doesn't have food poisoning, she's pregnant. Earlier, Kate and Daniel discuss her possible lung cancer and Kate promises to do more testing, but makes Daniel promise not to tell anyone - especially her family. At the pub, Chloe and Philip flirt. She confides she misses singing. Lucas arrives and encourages Chloe to go back to her music. Lucas asks Philip to make a call to an opera company the Kiriakis foundation is underwriting. Philip can't make any promises, but will definitely make the call. We see Philip still harbors feelings for Chloe? and it appears that Chloe also has the same feelings. Caroline has been found next to Trent's body with a knife. Bo has no choice but to arrest her. Friends and family rally around Caroline. Suspects abound, but sadly, the only evidence leads straight to Caroline. At end of day, she's booked and thrown in jail until the D.A. can decide how to proceed. Earlier, Stephanie confronts Max about the bloody shirt. He admits he

Lexie is being called before the hospital board. They will be reviewing Lexie's performance as Chief of Staff, mainly because she has missed so many important meetings and budget deadlines. They feel her loyalties are torn and she is not devoting enough time to her duties. Victor, Julie, and Mickey are on the board and Daniel has been called to testify. Eleanor Thomas, head of the board, believes Lexie's performance as C.O.S. needs to be examined. Daniel, who has worked in many different hospitals, is put on the hot seat. Eleanor wants Daniel's opinion. Daniel defends Lexie in every way, saying she cares about her patients and the inner workings of the hospital. Daniel believes Lexie is dedicated and works very hard for University Hospital. Philip runs into Kate, who's coughing and trying to catch her breath. She tells Philip she's fine. He doesn't buy it. Philip takes Kate to the hospital and insists she get checked out immediately. Daniel shows up and gets Kate settled into a cubicle. She's put on oxygen an

Nicole comes into the Brady pub and is joined by a depressed Philip. They have a drink together and Nicole rails on Sami. She tells Philip about her Sami fantasy (from #10892 & #10893). Once Nicole's fantasy of strangling Sami and being arrested for her murder concludes, Philip reacts. Nicole assures him things will turn out much better for her in real life. Philip wishes her well and leaves. Moments later, an angry EJ enters and makes a beeline to Nicole. He confronts Nicole about what she did to Sami. Lucas and Chloe are with Allie at the Horton cabin. As Lucas rocks his baby they discuss how Sami was crazy to violate the joint custody decision. Chloe wonders if Lucas still loves Sami. Lucas says he does not, but they will always have a bond because of their children. Lucas thinks Sami is now in love with EJ.

Steve calls Stephanie to find out why she hasn't returned from France. Steve remembers when Trent asked him for any information on Nick and Stephanie. Steve calls Hope to pull up info on Trent. Hope brings in the background check on Trent, informing Steve that Trent is still married. Trent's record is otherwise clean. Steve wants to find out who his wife is to gain more insight. Nicole listens in nervously. Stephanie, Max, and Nick are unable to find Melanie. Stephanie and Max return to their hotel room while Nick continues looking for Melanie. Chelsea surprises them by showing up in France. They bring Chelsea up to speed about Max's sister. Max and Steph disagree about Melanie. Nick calls and tells Max he has found Melanie. He's about to tell him where she is when the call gets dropped. Max leaves to get the call traced, relieved that Nick is with Melanie.
