Dizzy Harrison is an unpopular, high school geek going through a hellish senior year. In an attempt to make a new identity for himself, Dizzy gets himself expelled from his high school, learns the technics of being cool from a prison inmate, and enrolls at a new high school under the alias Gil Harris, to make new friends where he soon gains respect from the jocks and geeks alike. Dizzy then gets noticed by the head cheerleader, Danielle, and helps the school football team gain self-respect to win games. But things unknowingly begin to turn sour when Danielle's disgruntled boyfriend begins investigating into "Gil Harris'" past to uncover any dirt on him.

Karl Hirsch directs this irrepressibly dumb buddy flick about pot, farts, and the CIA. Waylon (Corin Nemec) and Buzz (David Faustino) are a lifelong pals and lifelong losers; at the film's outset, they are canned from yet another job. After deciding to inaugurate their newly-unemployed status by looking for some women, they run into a couple of comely lasses (Caroline Keenan and Danielle Harris) who challenge them to do one thing right: to cross town and pick them up a particular snack-treat. A simple task, but then, they're simple guys. They end up breaking into a convenience store and get locked in. In the basement, they discover a huge pot-farming operation and proceed to smoke a lot of weed. This raises the ire of Fievel Tenenbaum (Maurice Chasse), a high school biology teacher-turned-ganja-growing gangsta and the Gooch (Robert Stack), a loose-cannon CIA operative who has gone a little funny in the head. ~ Jonathan Crow, All Movie Guide.

And still they come? This fourth entry in the Halloween franchise focuses on Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris), the niece of ubiquitous masked-killer Michael Myers (George P. Wilbur). Jamie tries to lead a normal life, but she can't escape the vengeance of her funny uncle, who once more escapes from the looney bin. The only echo of the original Halloween -- and a faint one at that -- is the casting of Donald Pleasence as Dr. Loomis, who manages to get through his We must stop him! scenes as if mouthing the words for the first time. Though as predictable as they come, Halloween 4 etc. is at least well acted, directed and photographed. Former Prada model and Road Trip co-star D.J. Qualls makes a bid for leading man status in this nerd-makeover comedy. Qualls stars as Dizzy, a dorky but delinquent high school student who's determined to get expelled from his hellish high school -- but ends up landing in jail instead. There he meets the intimidating, street-smart Luther (Eddie Griffin), himself a former geek, who takes Dizzy under his wing to teach him the art of being cool. Soon Luther and his pals have broken Dizzy of his meek, maladroit ways, and Dizzy is ready to start a new life at a new high school under a new name: Gil Harris. When Gil arrives at East Highland High -- his former inmate reputation known to all -- he quickly ingratiates himself with the cool kids and lays to waste any jocks who stand in his way. He even manages to date the school's most coveted girl, Danielle (Eliza Dushku). But when a face from his past shows up, it seems that his facade as the big man on campus may be about to crumble.
