This comedy-adventure follows Marnie and her younger siblings as they return with their estranged grandmother, a good witch (Debbie Reynolds), to her home in Halloweentown, where witches, goblins, vampires and the like lead very normal lives. On her 13th birthday, Marnie learns that she comes from a witch family and that she too is a witch. She also discovers that an evil force is plotting to take over Halloweentown, and she must help her mother and grandmother to save the day.

Back to school's never been so cool or supernatural for Marnie (Kimberly J. Brown), her grandmother Aggie (Debbie Reynolds), and her family of witches in this latest chapter in the ever-popular series of Halloweentown movies. When Marnie convinces the Halloweentown Council to send several teenagers to her high school in the mortal world, she even promises to give up her magic if any harm comes to them. But soon, Marnie and her new friends are in trouble and out of luck when the evil Knight of the Iron Dagger appears. Debbie Reynolds stars as Tammy in this romantic comedy of a country girl living in the South who cares for pilot Peter Brent (Leslie Neilsen) after his plane crashes near her home. At the beckoning of mutual admiration, Peter soon invites her to his plantation where she charms the fancy-shmancy attitude out of his family and transforms the whole place into virtual sweetness and sunshine. Tammy and the Bachelor presented the original song Tammy by Ray Evans and Jay Livingston, which gained the two an Oscar nomination for Best Song and became a hit song for Reynolds.
