When Jase finds out Jep is planning to buy his kids a fancy playhouse from a catalogue, he and the guys decide to build one for Jep them selves. But when the playhouse ends up looking more like a military-style duck blind, Jep calls in backup.
When Willie gets a soft serve machine for himself, he tells the guys they can't use it until they're done working. But when Jase thinks this is unfair, he takes matters into his own hands and finds a better object to use as motivation.
When Willie and Jase argue over an old GI Joe toy, it leads them into a debate over who would make a better soldier. To settle the score, Willie and Jase head out to the woods with their friends and children for a paintball match, but the game is cut short when Si gets stuck in a marsh and needs to be rescued. Meanwhile, Jep recruits Martin to help him lay a sidewalk in his front yard, but when they run into some problems, Jep must call on Phil to come save the day.
After visiting a popular burger restaurant, Willie and Jase get into a debate over which of them cooks the best burger, prompting them to challenge one another to a cooking contest. Meanwhile, Phil and Jep take some recycling to the junkyard and wind up having bonding time together in the most unlikely place. While they're out, Jessica and Kay spend the afternoon doing decoupage.
When the duck guys have to pull an all-nighter to finish some work, Willie decides he wants to join them. But when a dying smoke detector distracts them from their work, Jase and Willie head off to disarm it, leaving the rest of the gang to finish the order before sunrise. Meanwhile, when Mia and Priscilla spend the night at Phil and Kay's house, Phil scares them with a ghost story, causing the girls to get revenge on Phil while he's asleep.
After seeing footage Jep shot using a GoPro, Si decides he wants to use the camera to record a day in his life. But when Si gets on the guys nerves while they're hunting, they kick him and his GoPros out of the blind. Meanwhile, Willie gets lost while taking John Luke and Sadie to an LSU football game, but in an effort to save the day, Willie pulls over and they have their own private tailgate on the side of the road.
When Willie is looking to hire a new assistant, Korie insists he interview her cousin, JD. Willie is hesitant at first, but immediately hits it off with JD, who truly appreciates Willie's sense of humor; now, JD just has to win over the Duck Call room guys, who are wary of having another Willie in the office. Meanwhile, when Uncle Si spends the day over at Phil and Kay's, Jep stops by with the kids to keep them away from Jessica, who has taken ill. To entertain the kids, Si takes them outside for a treasure hunt on Phil and Kay's land. But, in typical Si fashion, the treasure hunt has some interesting twists and turns, leading them to the ultimate treasure--fun!
When Rebecca returns home from her internship in Los Angeles, the Robertson family plans a big surprise party to welcome her back. But when Willie thinks Rebecca has no plan for her future, he become concerned, and decides to find out how Rebecca plans to earn her keep as a member of his household. However, Willie is happily surprised to discover that Rebecca is a real go-getter, much like him. Meanwhile, when Uncle Si gets sick, he seeks the help of Ms. Kay to take care of him, but when Si takes over her living room, Phil takes issue with his new houseguest.

The Robertsons perform a live nativity for their Church for Christmas, so the wives organize rehearsals to ensure that they pull off a great event. However, rehearsals get off to a bumpy start as the guys can't stop sharing their opinions. In between rehearsals, Willie and Jase struggle to get their wives the perfect Christmas gifts and they unenthusiastically take Jep's advice.
The church can't host their annual trick or treat event so the Robertsons offer to hold the event at Duck Commander. They all come together to decorate the warehouse and transform it into a "scarehouse." Everyone dresses up and Willie desperately tries to be the scariest, but none of the kids are afraid of him. Meanwhile, Kay is decorating her house for Halloween and enlists the youngest kids to help her. When they try to get Phil into the Halloween spirit, Phil puts his own twist on Halloween decorating by making a jack-o-lantern with a shotgun.
Si discovers Youtube, and, after watching a series of instructional videos, decides he can make something better. Jase, Jep, Godwin, and Martin help Si shoot an instructional golf video, and upload Si's "four point philosophy" to the web. John Luke totals Willie's truck, and Willie realizes he may be raising the two worst drivers in all of Louisiana. Willie then remembers that all kids are trouble when he takes his niece and nephew for a ride in his loaner, a 2014 Chevy Silverado, and they cover it in ice cream.
A decision to try and make some duck jerky leads the boys to Godwin's garage, where they end up fighting hornets and racing motorcycles before finally creating the jerky back at Duck Command after an impromptu knife throwing competition. Phil and Kay have made Willie the executor of their will, and Phil wants to show Willie what he and his brothers will inherit when he and Kay pass away.
Si shows up to to work on a mobility scooter, claiming to have an invisible injury from a fender bender with Willie. After losing her beloved turtle "Mr. T", Ms.Kay enlists Phil on a mission to find a new pet turtle.
John Luke and Sadie are getting some dental work done, complete with sedation, and it's up to Willie and Korie to take care of them through the process--including getting them back home safely. Phil goes to DC to recruit Jase and Jep to help him take care of a cottonmouth den and finds them emptying the contents of the broken fridge into trash bags. They set out to dump the trash but keep running into problems.
Because of a termite problem at Duck Commander, the guys are forced to find a different location to work from--Godwin's House. But while at Godwin's house, Godwin gets a taxidermied gift from a past relative, which sends them on a mission to find out how much it is worth. Miss Kay needs help with her Golden 60's club, so she enlists Korie and Willie to help her out.
